I was the S3 Training and Operations officer for my high school JROTC Program, it was my responsibility to ensure the training orders were written and signed properly, and it was my job to ensure that the training went smoothly. Any outside event that we participated in, my job was to inform our teams and our cadet body of the event and influence them to participate in the event as well. Most of us had a great time and as a result we have a much larger cadet turnout for our senior class this year (which were LET 1's when I was a senior LET 4). I feel my efforts were best met with the cadets themselves rather than my paperwork. Yeah much of it got prepared and sent to the right offices on time, but it wasn't my personal priority for my job.
I learned alot from the program and would love nothing more than to go through it again. I've been denied enlistment into the service as a result of a temporary medical issue and so the liklihood of me getting involved with something of that nature again is quite minimal unless I become an instructor.
