Anime Conventions?!

I can tell just by seeing the activity here that we at least have a couple of Convention goers here! What cons have you been to and which one did you enjoy the most?

I actually went to my first one 2 years ago and decided that this year I was going to join staff. It was well worth the time and I thoroughly enjoyed the convention even though much of it was done staffing.

I look forward to hearing some of your stories

Only been to a small one near my middle of nowhere town xD

They really are fun, though I spent most of it in a group with random people playing super smash brothers on a N64. There was a guy in (naruto) anbu black ops or w/e they called gear, best part he just sat silently off to side xD Never said a word, kicked my butt in the game though haha

Though my favorite cosplay was still a family dressed to the anime Magi xD
Only read a bit of the manga awhile ago (been meaning to watch the show), saying this so you know I have a excuse for not knowing the names. But that aside~ The dad was the blond prince guy, the kid was the kid with the flute, and the mom was the super strong slave girl (yep couldn't remember a single name). It really was a cute little family cosplay ^.^ ... and next would probably be the person dressed as Ruby from RWBY. Both were cool (mr silent takes #3)
